Sprinkle a little sweetness onto your bracelet with the delightful Blooming Watering Can Charm.
“I tend the flowers of my mind.
Watering our memories as they bloom.”
Growing up surrounded by woods and forests has deeply instilled in me a love of animals and nature. Thus the PANDORA Spring 2019 Collection, filled with butterflies and flowers was perfect for me. One of my favourites from the collection is the charming PANDORA Blooming Watering Can Charm (797873ENMX).
Dora Explores: PANDORA Blooming Watering Can Charm
In keeping with the Spring Collection butterfly theme, a mustard yellow butterfly rests on the spout of the PANDORA Blooming Watering Can Charm (797873ENMX). Notice too the trademark PANDORA heart hidden on the spout.
There are so many little details on the Blooming Watering Can Charm including a little ladybird crawling up the side. The pretty bug is very similar to the design of the Ladybird Petite (797050EN159) charm and features a minuscule love heart between her wings. It is hard to see her in the stock images so she was a wonderful surprise when I received the charm.
Creeping silver flower grows around the handle of the Blooming Watering Can Charm creating a feeling of stumbling upon a secret garden, paused in time.
Every angle of the Blooming Watering Can Charm reveals beautiful details accentuated with subtle oxidisation.
Surprisingly the Blooming Watering Can Charm has a smooth core, although it is still a relatively heavy silver charm. The normal PANDORA hallmark ‘S925 ALE’ is stamped one side of the charm.
The new style of PANDORA logo complete with the crown over the letter ‘O’ is engraved on the other side of the Blooming Watering Can Charm.
A small disc hangs beneath the Blooming Watering Can Charm engraved with the inspiration to ‘Bloom and Grow’. When I first saw the stock image of the charm I had doubts about the little dangle but once on a bracelet it provides an interesting detail.
Beautiful blooms burst from the top of the Watering Can Charm including a four leaf clover at the centre and two pink enamel blossom either side. A single clear cubic zirconia stone adds a little sparkle to the middle of one flower.
Style 1: Mulan’s Garden
“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.”
“My, my, what beautiful blossoms we have this year. But look! This one’s late. But I’ll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all.”
Mulan: “Would you like to stay for dinner?”
Grandmother Fa: “Would you like to stay forever?”
The sweet Magnolia Bloom (792087PCZ) charm makes an pretty centre point surrounded by the PANDORA Rose Open Your Heart (780964) and Darling Daisy Meadow (780004EN12) charms. Positioned beside the Magnolia Bloom Clips (792078PCZ) are the gorgeous new PANDORA Rose Peach Blossom Spacers (788111ENMX). Their combination of pale pink and bright fuchsia enamel energises the design.
Unfortunately the PANDORA Rose Peach Blossom Spacers are a China exclusive, however you can read about how to purchase them in my Peach Blossom Collection post.
Style 2: Mossy Meadow
“Lying on a soft bed of moss viewing the cobalt blue sky painted with thick impastoed layers of clouds framed sumptuously with swaying trees and dancing leaves is the best way to view nature’s museum.”
Khang Kijarro Nguyen
“There, rising no more than an inch above the surface of the boulder, she saw a great and tiny forest. Nothing moved within this mossy world. She peered at it so closely that she could smell it- dank and rich and old.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, The Signature of All Things
“They have the patina of almost two centuries of English sunshine and rain and are patterned with mosses in a wide range of emerald, apple and viridian greens. Any one of them, tastefully framed and hung in a London art gallery, would get rave notices from the critics.”
Norman Thelwell, A Plank Bridge by a Pool
The retired Vintage Allure (791173SSG) charm is a sparkling showpiece at the centre of the bracelet with the Happy Little Bird (790424) and Blooming Watering Can charms on either side. Warm drops of gold are sprinkled though the bracelet on the two tone Lazy Daisy Clips (791014), Bird & Branches (791213CZN), Evening Floral (791373) and He Loves Me (790541D) charms. While the Fascinating Olive Crystals (791729NLG) and Wildflower Murano (791638CZ) charms reflect grassy green shades. Woodland trees are represented with the PANDORA Muirapiranga Wood (790703) beads which I am also looking forward to styling in the upcoming PANDORA Summer 2019 Collection!
Style 3: English Country Garden
“The soul cannot thrive in the absence of a garden. If you don’t want paradise, you are not human; and if you are not human, you don’t have a soul.”
Sir Thomas More
“Gardens are not made by singing ‘Oh, how beautiful!’ and sitting in the shade.”
“For you little gardener and lover of trees, I have only a small gift. Here is set G for Galadriel, but it may stand for garden in your tongue.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
Mimicking a country garden, this bracelet includes all the essentials; a Watering Can, Spring Bird House (797045) and of course the Enchanted Tea Pot (797065CZ) along with a Tea Cup (790361). Dragonflies hover between the flowers on the Promise of Spring (797046) and Dragonfly Meadow (791733CZ) charms. Pink Fluttering Butterflies (791483EN68) play amongst the Cherry Blossom (790947), Field of Daisies (791623) and Pink Field of Flowers (791665) Murano charms. Other blooms include the pretty Darling Daisies Spacers (791495EN12) and matching Darling Daisy Meadow Clips (791494EN12).
My verdict on the PANDORA Blooming Watering Can Charm? Blooming marvellous!
